If you would like to pass values to your forms via URL parameters, you may do so by configuring the fields in your forms to accept the values.

Using standard query string conventions in your URL, you can set the values of your parameters to pass to your forms. In the example above, we pass the value "Tadabase URL Value" to the text field within the form on the given page.

You may utilize this functionality for the following Tadabase field types:

  • Text
  • Long Text
  • Rich Text
  • Address
  • Currency
  • Date
  • Date & Time
  • Radio
  • Select
  • Decision
  • Rating
  • Slider

To configure this functionality on a field, you may follow the steps below:

1. Edit the field that you would like to accept URL values for.

2. Select to Get Value From URL (a) and then provide a Param Name (b). The Param Name will be used to identify the value in your URL.

3. Pass your values via URL. You will want to use query string structure to pass your values and percent-encoding to add certain characters to your values.
